Interior and cover: why they are two PDFs

Pages are bound. The jacket wraps the spine. They are not one file.

KDP says it up front: manuscript (inside) and cover (outside). Mixing them in one PDF is the mistake of designing “the whole book” in Canva as one long poster.

Interior: Path A, B, or C. One-piece jacket: Path D, with the real interior page count.
