Kindle reflows type. Print is a fixed page.

A reflow ebook changes font size. A paperback has trim, spine, and a footer. “Turn the Kindle into paper” is not one click on the same file.

For the paper object, Path A starts from .docx and delivers the interior PDF. A Kindle file, if you need one, is a different flow.

Initially, I built it for myself: I am a writer and an artist, and I needed something simple, fast, and affordable before I started generating income from my books or art. My mother ran a publishing house and I knew the fundamentals of this craft and what it means to assemble the layout of a book for print. This “formatting atelier” is meant to be simple: I made it for writers, artists, and anyone who needs to get their creation into print but has never done book formatting themselves before.
