How spine width is calculated

Pages × stock thickness. Do not guess.

KDP publishes different formulae for white, cream, and colour. Ingram uses its own stocks. One extra millimetre and the title eats the front.

The interior on A, B, or C gives you the spec with spine width. The jacket is built on Path D from those numbers.
