What the Word file needs (and what does not)

Clear chapters. The factory sets margins, footers, and the PDF.

A readable manuscript is enough: recognizable chapter titles, not a locked Amazon-sized layout. Paragraph indents and emphasis are fine.

Do not spend the day on headers, page numbers, or the spine. That is Path A.
